Dear Sam

So many great memories come to me when I think of you, like when the farmer had to come and remove the hay bells because you were stuck in between 2 of them.

We had so many great funny memories, you were so intelligent, I admired and you for that. You had a soft heart, a heart which desired nothing more than to be loved.

Brother Sam, how there will be moments where I wished I could have meet you again, to have a pint with my brother, to be brother in arms again, that however is now not possible.

You leave behind a family who have always missed you, who will wondered about you. That’s who I miss, the old Sam, the Sam we all knew and loved.

Your free now, free from all the struggles, free from all the choices. Your free.

My brother, I hold now onto special memories because that’s all I now have, they remind me of who we once were.

We grew together, but we grew apart, but the memories and stories always remain in our heart, we laughed aloud and forgive eventually

You always had a special place in my heart, there I Will keep you, there you are safe

You praised me at my best, we hugged each other at our worse as kids.

We stood by each other and cheered if we came first, but stood by each other when we came last.

Thanks for the memories Sam, Thanks for those times we had.

I will always remember you my brother, as the Sam loved and knew 11 years ago. That’s the Sam no one can claim from me, no one can tarnish, and no one can hurt. My brother Sam, I love you buddy, I just wished we did have more memories and time.
